Understanding the Points System 🪙
In SnapDosh, there are two types of points you should know about. They function differently and have distinct goals.
1. Status Points (Ranking)
These are the points you earn during the current round. They serve to measure your activity and determine your level in the ranking.
- Accumulation: Earned by posting deals, receiving likes, and acting as a scout.
- Reset: At the end of each round, Status Points reset to zero so everyone has a chance to compete again.
- Goal: Climb the Status levels (Shopper -> Deal Hunter -> Master Saver -> Legendary).
2. Redeemable Points (Lifetime)
These are the points you use to exchange for Gift Cards.
- How they appear: At the end of a round, your Status Points are converted into Redeemable Points.
- Validity: They are available during the next active round. If they are not redeemed before that round closes, they expire.
- Usage: Exchange them in the app's reward store.

Status Levels 🏆
Your level is based on your ranking position at the end of the round:
| Level | Point Range / Position | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Shopper | Initial level (0 - 2000 pts) | Base app access |
| Deal Hunter | Top 25% of users | 1.05x point multiplier |
| Master Saver | Top 5% of users | 1.10x point multiplier |
| Legendary | Top 1% of users | 1.15x point multiplier |
Pro Tip: The higher your status, the faster you accumulate points in the next round thanks to multipliers!
